Buncombe County Parks & Recreation is partnering with the National Park Service – Rivers, Trails, and Conservation Assistance (NPS-RTCA) program to redesign and renew Alexander River Park, Ledges Whitewater Park, and Walnut Island River Park after they sustained significant damage from Tropical Storm Helene. We want to hear from you how you use these North Buncombe river parks, how you want to use them, and how we can make them even better.
