Swannanoa Small Area Plan Draft Poll
Swannanoa Small Area Plan Draft Poll
This poll asks questions about the draft Swannanoa Small Area & Resilience Plan. Please read the full draft plan here and then answer the following questions. Data gathered through this public poll will help finalize the Swannanoa Small Area & Resilience Plan and prioritize County actions in a five-year implementation list. This is the final community engagement step prior to public hearings before the Planning Board and Board of Commissioners.
This poll is open August 1-17, 2026. For an outline of the planning process, summaries of community feedback, and a review of the recommendations in the plan, you can attend one of the Swannanoa Small Area Plan Drop-In Exhibits or visit the online exhibit here.
- What is an action? An action is specific step or activity to help make the plan's vision a reality.
- Why "Five-year" actions — isn't this a long-term plan? The plan includes Policies and Actions to work on over the next 20-year period, but it also highlights which actions can be started most easily within a shorter, five-year period.
