Library Advisory Board
The Library Advisory Board advises the Buncombe County Public Libraries on library matters, including but not limited to fines and fees, budgets, services, and facilities. The Library Advisory Board participates in the review process for items in the library collection that are subject to requests for reconsideration. Consisting of nine members, with three members appointed from each Buncombe County Commissioner district, the Library Advisory Board is one way the Library seeks input to further its mission to connect and empower our community. The Library Advisory Board generally meets every other month at 6:30 p.m. at a local library or online.
